Divine Strake in Nevada: The U.N. urges U.S. to stop: 

On March 10, 2006, a U.N. committee urged the United States government to abort the test and to desist from activities that violate Western Shoshone sovereignty.  The Nevada Test Site is situated on lands that belong to the Western Shoshone per the Treaty of Ruby Valley of 1862.
